- Body binding:
- Caught early before they go too far, binding repairs can be performed with little trouble.
- Finish retouch:
- Finish imperfections such as dents and scratches, can be repaired. Lacquer finish touch-ups will "melt in" and be invisible, restoring your guitar's appearance.
- Electronics:
- Bad parts may need replacing, or bad connections found and fixed.
- The neck:
- Common problems include: shims may need to be added, the neck might be seated incorrectly in the neck pocket, the truss rod might need adjusting.
- Nut:
- Coming off the assembly line, slots can be cut too low, too high, or even in the wrong place. For the guitar to play properly, such errors must be corrected.
- Headstock:
- It is NOT the end for your guitar if your "tilt back" headstock breaks ! Save ALL of the pieces and your Gibson ( or ? ) can be restored.
