Here is a 12 string bridge being pulled away from its body. The best way to combat this is to de-tune ALL strings when the guitar is stored. 12 strings (even 6) produce plenty of force that will bow the neck, distort the top, pull the bridge up, etc., especially during the dry winter months! |
